The name given to a prototype "entertainment" robot designed by Sony Electronics that combines cutting-edge artificial intelligence and dynamics technology, and allegedly can walk on two legs, even on uneven surfaces, dance, recognize people's faces and voices, and carry on a conversation; pronounced "Curio."
Usage: Story on the latest promotional trip by Sony's prototype robot.
