FENG SHUI
The Chinese art or practice of positioning objects, especially graves, buildings, and furniture, based on a belief in patterns of yin and yang and the flow of chi that have positive and negative effects.
Usage: Interview with Chinese composer Tan Dun.

LOP
To remove superfluous parts from; to eliminate as unnecessary or undesirable (usually used w/ 'off.')
Usage: Report on changes made to the Afghani, the currency of Afghanistan, to eliminate a glut of illegally printed currency, prevent counterfeiting, and make it easier for businesses and citizens to use; in the redesign process, three zeroes were removed ("lopped off") from the end of the currency to simplify accounting.
